Improvements To NBA2k’s MyLeague For More Realism

Greetings to the entire 2kSports team! First off, I want it to be understood that I've been a huge NBA2k fan/gamer since its debut on Dreamcast. NBA2k has been the best basketball simulation game I've ever seen throughout the decades. With that being said, I've always wanted the series to take its realism to even greater heights! I've always had a few ideas that I felt would make it even more realistic, but never knew how to go about getting them heard until NOW. Lol You all at 2kSports have done a phenomenal job of making incredible improvements to your NBA2k series as of late, but I'd like to suggest a few more new ideas specifically for MyLeague.

• 1- Nothing But Net
I love how you now allow the player(s) to shoot nothing but net, but I noticed that it is only possible if they have the shot meter on in the settings. I'd like to be able to make the nets "swish" also with the shot meter off and for Real Player % for more visual realism.

• 2- NBA All Star Game Player Selection and Jerseys
The East should only be allowed to select players from the eastern conference and the same for the West. The 3 Point and dunk contest are perfect! My only gripe is the fact that for the actual All Star Game, the player doesn't have the option to choose past All Star Game jerseys like they can retro jersey before season games. Even allow the option of NBA All Stars to wear their corresponding jersey for their team depending on the year they wore them and/or whether they're home or away.

• 3- MyLeague Commentary and Season Facts Accuracies
I, like some of the other NBA2k gamers like to turn back the clocks and play through a season with a classic team. But, when I hear the commentary referring to the current NBA teams/players, it takes away from the nostalgia of past players and game references. It would be nice to have Marv Albert and/or someone from the past era to do the commentary. Maybe even maybe generic commentary revolving around past NBA players or "the 90s" by members of the NBA2k team or talented voice actors! Just a thought!

• 4- More Retro Shoes
Now, this issue may have already been taken care of, but during MyLeague I noticed that the Nike Air Max Uptempo with the wavy midsole and oval shaped air bubbles was not available. After doing much internet research, I found it to be quite popular among players of the mid to late 90s.

• 5- Former NBA Coaches
It's pretty much self explanatory. It would be nice to allow the player to have the option to select former NBA coaches for a team sort of like a "classic coaches" category in the "Staff" category in MyLeague. It would be cool to have a 90s Phil Jackson and his Bulls go up against Jeff Van Gundy and his Knicks!

• 6- Michael Jordan's Full Pre-Game Chalk Ritual
Lebron has his! Where's Jordan's? Lol

• 7- Onscreen Score Overlay Fade Out
I've noticed that every year NBA2k allows the scoring overlay for the two teams to stay onscreen throughout an entire game. I think that there should be a setting in "MyLeague Opions" that allows a player to decide whether to have it constantly onscreen or fade away after maybe a second or two like actual TV games have had both past and present.

• 8- In-game Trash Talking
I know that this idea has never even been attempted, but I think that it could make the gaming experience that much more entertaining if done properly. Imagine if a game player could have the option to press a specific button combination assigned to a particular player on the opposing team that allows an NBA player to talk trash to them at any point during a game with varying results! Trash talking could either rattle that player or cause them to go into a scoring frenzy depending on what player it is. Let's say a player trash talks MJ or he trash talks a lesser talented player! This option could be explored even further if the trash talking becomes excessive and the referees get involved and have the power to issue technical foul(s) to a player or both parties.
