For my career it should be an actual off-season in my career. 2k could incorporate big summer league tournaments like The Drew League and etc. They could also do workouts with other players during the off-season. I would also like to recommend a more open world type game but still include the park and all the original game modes but make a more real life experience. They could also include the nba combine(drills, shoot arounds) and pre draft game. Also intensify the team practices.
