This is regarding a US Published Patent which I have developed, and accepted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This invention focuses on the prevention of the dangers of Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), and how this new innovation can greatly benefit over 29+ Million American consumers who currently have Type 1, and/or Type 2 Diabetes. This new Glucose Management System would greatly benefit my own problems with Hypoglycemia, including millions of others who have Diabetes.
The scope of this invention involves using edible Polymer composed sugar strips housed by a dispenser unit, these edible sugar strips works with one's saliva by placing the dissolving strip upon one's tongue, together with the saliva and sugar (which will be the same approximate size as a Listerine Breath mint strip), it will carry down into the blood stream, making it faster to digest, and absorb. This invention can make a profound difference in managing ones blood sugar (glucose) level(s), and diet during the day.
The dose of each edible sugar strip will be comprised of "4.5+" grams of sugar, and/or dextrose, and/or glucose, (same amount as in one packet of sugar). It can be enhanced with any flavor.
During a low blood sugar (Hypoglycemia) situation using high carb, and high sugar to boost one's blood sugar is not the ideal solution to elevate one's blood sugar level, this will only create a higher blood sugar spike, and increased weight gain. This new innovation can be very important and beneficial without causing high blood sugar spikes, and controlling carb intake, and in turn avoiding/preventing long-term, and/or short term diabetes complications, as in painful nerve damage, blindness, kidney failure, foot ulcers, limb amputations, cardiac arrests, and so much more. Right now there is no such product out there similar to this innovation.
