Panther Teeth For Athletic Shoes And Boots
Adidas Product Improvement IdeaSubmitted 1 year ago
Panther Teeth (pantherteeth.com) has created a "lace lock" device that can be used on all types of athletic footwear, boots and ice skates. The device enables the athlete to customize the fit of their footwear by creating separate zones of lace tension, while keeping their laces at their preferred tension level during their entire workout. Now a user can customize the fit and comfort of their footwear to create more power, balance and stability.
The Panther Teeth system enables faster, more powerful directional changes through a seamless connection between an athlete and their footwear. Our lace tensioning system offers very similar features to a BOA System, although we actually offer more features, and it is a fraction of the cost of a BOA System.
Panther Teeth is looking for a brand partnership opportunity with Adidas. We offer two different versions of our devices. One version is our "aftermarket" version which can be sold direct to consumers and an "OEM" version that can be attached during the manufacturing process.
Also, we completed a performance study of the hockey device by an independent research university. This study was completed at Brock University by Dr. Kelly Lockwood. The study highlights the benefits of using Panther Teeth. A similar study will be done on our athletic shoe and boot devices later this year. Please see below Q/R code for a video link to the study results.
Panther Teeth (pantherteeth.com) has also been awarded a utility patent which is US patent number 11/116,287. We also have two additional pending non-provisional utility patents and two design patents on file with the USPTO. Also, we have three approved trademarks.
Please advise if you would like to set up a meeting so I could show you first hand on how this product could enhance the fit and performance of your customers footwear.
Best regards,
Brad Pelkofer, founder and inventor of Panther Teeth
