Amazon.com New Service Idea

Submitted 6 years ago

I have a bad hip and a weight lifting limitation. I know many other older women with similar issues.
That is one of the reasons I buy many things that on Amazon - I don't really want store shop looking for some items. It is also why I buy some heavy things on Amazon - I only have to move it from the front door into the house and do not have to haul it home.

BUT sometimes when I buy many things they all get packaged in one big HEAVY box. It would be nice If I could put a weight limitation so if POSSIBLE Amazon would ship in 2 boxes instead of 1 heavy box. Example - I buy light weight kitty litter because the local store is often out. But putting all the containers in one box makes it very very heavy.

When I know I'm ordering something heavy I make arrangements to get help to get it inside. But I can't control how many items Amazon puts in a box based on weight. It would be nice to add this shipping limitation to my profile.
