Offshore Powerboats

As an owner of a 2003 Audi RS6 , i am aware of the greatness of the technology and the reliability of Audi engines . I cant think of a better way to make a "perfect" marriage of man , machine and the open waters using Audi's automotive engines.As american boat makers have been making 700+ HP engines in multiple configurations for offshore racing using "big blocks" that consume high volumes of fuel , take up a lot of space , weigh a lot and break often , i see a perfect application for the waters using two 4.0 bi-turbo (3993 cc V8 twin turbo) in a Catamaran of 35' with 700+HP each .. lightweight , great reliability , long Torque powerband and great fuel economy ..of course a mono-hull would work as well.
Even using my BCY 4.2 V8 from my C5 RS6 would provide a lighter , better , longer lasting more fuel efficient, power opportunity . i see this as a winning idea and the engineers at Audi are among the best in the world , i see a hard to beat and great selling idea . Lamborghini powered boats were dominant in the day . But technology is better and can be done is a smaller and lighter configuration ..it's worth a shot , would really like consideration of this idea , ty , steve painter , Curtis, mi (USA)
