Locating Lost Aircraft

Due to recent events, why not use red/silver plastic strips(malar) to locate a downed aircraft? Lightweight, flexible and adaptable, some stripes would contain small weights for ground issues, while water incident would include non weighted strips to float and reflect sunshine until as long as posible. These strips would be placed at aircraft structure break up area. These would need replacement to assure proper release.not to be advertised unti situation incident occurs
