Safety Pods

Boeing Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 3 years ago

In certain parts of the aircraft, especially the pilots cabin, there can be remote controlled ejection sections that groups of passengers can be safely ejected from aircraft before crashing to avoid life threatening injuries or worse. The pilots, of course would be ejected after the passengers. Groups of families would be 1st priority. After ejection the pods can be directed to nearest safe point on designated map to await transportation to nearby airport or hospital if needed. This could help save so many lives, especially if the technology and funds can be figured out with Boeing. The profitable outcome, publicity of really branching out to do better for the people and our future will really pay off. I'm not an expert on any aircraft topic but I'm pretty sure that there has got to be a better way to help with unexpected situations. Better to lose a materialistic transportation device and work to fix the issues later versus losing countless lives and the mourning of lost ones that will carry with them forever.
