Back Seat Cases

Boeing Service Improvement Idea

Submitted 5 years ago

As technology advances and becomes cheap and available for common people, more and more board airplanes with their tablets/smartphones. It can easily be noticed that travelers use all kinds of different methods during the flight to hold the devices while consuming entertainment. To answer the need for "device holders", by incorporating a case into the back of the seat, made out of a clear, transparent material, a tablet/smartphone would be easily inserted and stored during the entire flight, making the old displays irrelevant (which they already are, as most people watch content on their devices), thus saving a lot of money on content and screen integrations into new planes, and creating a comfortable position for the head, thus preventing neck pain during the flight (due to content watching on the tray by different devices or by looking up at an extremely far/near regular screen available on most airplanes).
