Ordering Phones Via Website

I think if one orders a phone from the website and it arrives damaged that you should replace the phone with tv's customer sending back the broken phone instead of all that refund b.s. I recently purchased a phone over the web for the first time and it arrived with a cracked screen and it was a nightmare to get a "resolution" as they call it just to not resolve anything and be stuck with a broken phone that I just purchased.
