Theme Restuarant

Burger King Marketing Idea Idea

Submitted 8 years ago

My idea is a return to the original "Whopper" themed restaurant. To compete with both McDonald's and Sonic at the same time. Build a 1950s style restaurant and serve the original menu: huge burgers with big slices of tomatoe and cheese served on huge buns. Also, thick homemade shakes and fresh fries. The restaurant should stay as close to the original as possible. The original restaurants had carhops, this could be incorporated into the design of the retro-themed establishment as a way to compete with Sonic. I envision this restaurant utilizing all three: an inside seating/serving area, drive-in, and a drive-thru. As to prices, people love themed eateries, and they don't mind paying ten dollars for a big burger or 15 for a meal. Use "whopper" logo, and play up the 50s angle. Baby Boomers will love it! Introduce the real Whopper to a whole new generation!

I had this idea for a theme-based Burger King, but didn't know how to market it to Burger King. Now, the new CEO, Daniel Schwartz, seems open to new and innovative ideas. The idea of returning to "the Home of The Whopper"' started when I realized that the younger generations have never had a Whopper, and have no clue how good they were. If the restaurants could partner with local farmers for the produce and meat, then it would have economic appeal to the communities. A way of giving back and helping support local industry.. All the ingredients should be fresh, not frozen. For instance, the old Burger Kings had machines that made the fries in the eatery. This restaurant could appeal to a whole new crowd, especially if only organic produce and meat is used. Personally, I quit eating fast food years ago, but if it was fresh and organic ly grown, I would definitely eat it. No one else in fast food could compete with The Real Whopper. Bring it Back!

I have heard stories all my life about the original whoopers, how big and delicious they were. This is a wonderful idea! Seems everyone is competing for new technology and expanded menus, sometimes simpler is better.
