Right-angle Gastrojejunostomy Tube
Cardinal Health Product Improvement IdeaSubmitted 3 years ago
I am looking for a company that might be interested in making the modified gastrojejunostomy tube. As you know, sometimes we experience the migration of gastrojejunostomy tube. I believe this occurs because of the anatomical angle of gastrostomy and pylorus. Because we place a stiff straight tube ignoring this anatomical relationship, the tube is pushed back with its elasticity.
Thus I am suggesting making right angle gastrojejunostomy tube. If the tube is angulated closed to the balloon, the angle will not cause any issues placing the tube.
If you can comment on anything about this idea, it would be appreciated.
