While vacationing at the beach this summer I tried to access some sporting events on the local cable service. The rented cottage had cable but with limited service and no sports.
If Century Link could make available a way to allow vacationers to order and pay for premiums at a rented cottage by the week then this can be a source of additional revenue for you.
Example, I rent a cottage with basic CATV service, I want to watch a ballgame or HBO this week when I am there. I should be able to take my cell phone call you on a phone number supplied on the converter box and give you the box number from the box and the pay you by credit card for a weeks service on this particular box for whatever premium service that I want. I would gladly pay $ 10 for sports package, or HBO, Cinemax on the set at the cottage for the week so that I can enjoy this on my vacation. You are missing out on lots of additional new found revenue here by not supplying this feature.
