There is already a weight adjustment on front seat for safety belt, why not back seats for children , when driver leaves car an alarm will go off, until child or pet is removed from back, and if not, the AC is turned on automatic, plus calling OnStar, stating to OnStar person that a child or pet is left in vehicle. This is a less expensive way to keep children and pets safe. Or OnStar can be high tech, and have a camera to view - what is left behind, this can be a tool to safe all life even in a robbery .
