I came up with this idea and didn't see an option to leave my information? I think everyone who has direct tv and has run into this problem will love this option.

When you've had a show on pause for a while the slightest wrong button tap will change the channel and you lose everything you've paused and been waiting to watch. There should be a box that pops up when a button is hit for a channel that has been paused for a while that asks, "Are you sure you want to change the channel?" This way, if you did accidentally hit the turn the channel button, you have an opportunity to continue watching the show you've been paused on.
