A variable weight golf putter that fills the need of the youngest golfer or a physical therapy patient to take up the sport of golfing, the niche between a cheap toy and a club that any avid golfer can use and enjoy or a devise to assist in a patient relearn how to the movement and control of muscles.
The putter's mass can easily be adjusted from about 180 grams up to about 450 grams, including the shaft and handle. The length of the shaft can be easily changed out for a 4-foot person to a 6-foot person without being glued into the head.
A 6 year old is approximately 42"-49" tall so a shaft length around 25" will be needed for them. As they grow taller, a longer shaft can be installed. Using mechanical fasteners, a shaft can be detached and an new one installed easily with either a screwdriver or hex wrench.
