A family friendly restriction or on off for horror movies shows and commercials even kid friendly channels have a knack of playing these at night, now I like horror however if waking up to them can cause me to freak think of the effect to a kid and I don't care how protective a parent anyone is leaving almost any channel on with enough volume can instill years of fear in a child.
