Be the first full size SUV maker in the US with an economic and powerful diesel engine, with the 3.0 L EcoDiesel option in the DURANGO.
The RAM 1500 as the brother already running with it, it is should be easy to build together.
I am sure have many people interested and will buy, plus DODGE can open to other markets with it, like Europe, where you can see all of the cars and SUVs with diesel engine options, like Land Rover, BMW, Mercedes-Benz.

Wouldnt be the first full size SUV offered with a diesel as the for excursions were offered with a 7.3 and 6.0 diesel. I do agree that dodge needs to make this an option for the Durango though just as they should have done a full size SUV with a Cummins years ago. I dont think they realize how much they are missing on sales for people looking for an SUV with great towing capacities. It they offered a 2500 Durango with the ram 2500 6.7 Cummins drive train it would sell fast.
