Holiday

I work for dollar general,. I have been with the company 3 yrs.. The store I work for was destroyed in Hurricane Harvey. I saw how all the upper management came together and helped their employees though the hard times and talked about family first. We work really hard throughout the year to make everything work, but when it comes to the holidays we have to stay open til regular closing hrs. Most of the employees r moms and don't get to cook the holiday dinners and spend it with their families. When I started 3 yrs ago dollar general closed at 6 for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I would like to see that again so we can put r families first. It would make a lot of employees so much happier to be able to spend time with their families.
