YES!! I have a 2023 Sierra and mine don't record, they change the camera to stay on while driving, in my 2020 it stays on for 10 seconds and go off..

I have a 2020 GMC Sierra Denali 3500. This truck has 11 cameras. Front, sides, rear, etc, yet I have to use an aftermarket dash cam to record in case of an accident. Why can't GM utilize all those cameras and be able to record from them? Certainly it would be easy to do. Perhaps an SD card that can record 100s of hours, then be recorded over if not needed.
