I have a couple of ideas that I think would be pluses for future trucks. 1. There should be a warning light, or message light, inside, that the driver could see, warning that the tailgate is down. I have heard numerous stories where people have forgotten that their tailgate was down, and lost something out the back. 2. My truck has LEDs in the box so you can see in the cargo area when it is dark. There should be a manual switch inside the box that you could turn these lights on, and in case you forget to turn them off, they should be on a timer and go off automatically after about 5 minutes. On my truck the switch is in the cab and isn't very handy to use, the switch should be just inside the tailgate that you could reach to turn them on. Just a couple of suggestions that I think would improve future trucks.
