Bad News-good News Geico Commercial

I used to do this to people I was arresting when I was a police officer. As I was handcuffing the suspect I would say, "I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is you are under arrest for ( what ever the offense was)". I would pause briefly and the suspect would inevitably ask "what's the good news?"
That's when I would inform them, " I saved a ton of money by switching my car insurance to Geico"

This routine always incited anger or laughter but it always got a response.
