Title of invention: Vehicle Door Pillar Light
Description: The addition of a light to a vehicle door pillar to automatically illuminate a opened vehicle door at night and the person outside the opened vehicle door at night to allow another vehicle driver to SEE the previously unseen opened vehicle door and person outside said opened vehicle door to allow the added time to allow accident avoidance. This invention is so effective and universal in application to all vehicles to reduce loss of life I suggest that GM license this patented invention and also be pro-active to make it a new global motor vehicle safety standard.
