I could not agree more. This Godaddy policy is a total joke... and they pass it off like it's for our benefit. I can't wait to move the rest of my domains to NameSilo.

This policy is a total joke and I think even a violation of ICANN rules. Godaddy blocks transferring domains to other registrars when Registrant details are updated. They claim their customers opt-in to this block, but there is no way to change Registrant details without opting in!
This is nothing more than a way for the sinking ship known as Godaddy to get one last renewal out of their customers before leaving... and leave we shall!
