Hydrogen gas is used as reducing agent in petroleum refineries, and it is used as fuel for fuel cell electric cars, also it is used as fuel for car's engine which is working with hydrogen gas as fuel. Also hydrogen gas is used for direct reduction furnace DRI in factories for extracting iron metal from iron ore. Current hydrogen stations depend on reforming natural gas for producing hydrogen gas. Via reforming unit natural gas has been oxidized to carbon dioxide CO2 during hydrogen generation. Then hundreds millions tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) are directed toward the air annually in the world during reforming process. In this project hydrogen gas is generated by using solar energy for co - electrolysis of water steam and carbon dioxide gas mixture at high temperature. Hydrogen gas is generated in this project without any carbon dioxide's emissions in the air (little quantity of carbon dioxide gas is used for co - electrolysis process which is recycled to be used for unlimited cycles of co - electrolysis process and never consumed). Generated hydrogen gas of this project is used for above uses.
