Google New Service Idea

Submitted 7 years ago

I propose to set up a web database where individuals can submit private video messages to either their family, friends or to the world upon their demise or at a time specified for them. Imagine receiving messages from a grandparent giving you their accumulated wisdom long after their passing or being able to finally reveal your innermost thoughts or secrets at a time of your choosing and to those whom you choose. It would become a family heirloom.
There are many things we would all like to pass on but there is currently no private and safe place to ensure the continuity of your message. A user could pre-select the audience, the date and be confident their wishes would be respected. Several persons of the users choosing could be asked to verify the persons passing, if this is the time specified, and these individuals could also have the authority, if so desired by the user, to enlist new viewers so that the message can be passed on to further generations and will endure.
