Lantern Or Lighted Ornament With Poem

I had bought a lighted ornament last year from hobby lobby and wrote a poem to go with it for my family's first Christmas without my dad. There weren't enough at the store for what I needed, so I had to make my own. The poem would also go well inscribed on a lantern. Here is the poem I wrote:


As you think of me, don't think we're far apart
For every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you do each day
While thinking of all the things we didn't get to do and say
I want you to wipe away the tears that flow
Then light this candle and watch it glow
Though just a small symbol of my life this may be
Let it be a reminder that I am more than a memory
I hear you when you speak to me when you are on your own
I hear you scream my name when you feel all alone
And when your heart is full of sorrow and the pain too much to bear
When you feel so tired and lonely and like no one else will care
I want you to remember the best times, the laughter and the song
The good life I lived while I was here, while I was strong
This candle is here to remind you that everything will be alright
Because no matter what, I will always be your light
