REEL SOLAR is a DC powered unit which is powered by a rechargeable battery via solar power. REEL SOLAR winds up to effortlessly store your water hose to reduce strain on your knees, arms, and back. A safety circuit is integrated into the design to to terminate power to the motor if the hose becomes tangled, and resets itself. The unit may be push button or remote control, and can be manufactured in various models (i.e. wall mount, pole mount, or free-standing).
