Enclosed Self Balancing Motorcycle

Honda New Product Idea

Submitted 7 years ago

Dear Honda

Please, please, please save me. I am a man in my early 40's with a lovely wife and two kids. I want to own a motorcycle that I can use every day to commute to work or that I can use to travel to meetings. A vehicle that I can easily find parking for. A vehicle that is light on fuel. Maybe a hybrid with electric motors.

I live in Europe, it's cold and wet and miserable here in winter and although I would love to have the wind blow through the places where my hair used to be, I would prefer to arrive at my meeting looking neat and tidy in my boring suit and tie. I do not want to wear leathers, the bike must be enclosed and it must be heated. I still like my kids (they are not yet teenagers) so some side impact protection would be lovely. I want the bike to be exciting to look at and I want to have a bit of excitement on the road. Handling is important. Looks are important too and as I am getting older (and uglier) this bike needs to look strong and purposeful and sexy with a place for me to put a few bags of shopping on the way home from work. I see you have designed a self balancing motorbike recently. That is great because when I come to a stop, I don't want to put my feet down to keep the bike upright. I want it to stand there on it's two wheels, tall and proud all by itself, like it accidently swallowed a bottle of male performance enhancing tablets.

If you're not sure what type of thing of thinking of look at Lit motors enclosed motorcycle.

So to sum it up, it's got two wheels (that's very important), it looks cool, it's enclosed with doors and windows, is warm and dry inside, it's safe, easy to park, is economical, it has place for a second person or some shopping. It should come in a range of power sizes catering to the newbie/teenager, the commuter to the long distance cruiser.

You can do it Honda! You can be the reason my kids look at me again and wonder how they got so lucky to have me as their dad!

Regards,
