Engine Preoverheat Sensors And Warning System

Honda Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 3 years ago

A safety sales feature that warns engine temperature is rising due to a engine malfunction (blown hose, bad water pump ect.) in time to stop the vehicle before engine damage or risk of engine fire, both of which happen on occasion.I tested engines and equipment over 5000 hours and learned even a small temperature rise of a few degrees above the normal operating temperature means there is a engine malfunction of some type. With today's modern sensor technology the operator can be warned much earlier than in the past that there is a problem causing a rise in engine temperature in time to stop before engine overheat and also lessen the risk of engine fire.My patents cover the entire preoverheat warning zone there is a problem from 0 to 50 degrees but experience tells me a 5 degree rise in engine temperature already means there is a serious problem that needs to be taken care of.Keep driving engine temperature keeps rising increasing engine damage and risk of fire.
