Fix Problem With Trunk Light Causing Battery To Die

The problem I am having is the trunk of my honda civic opens, (either through accidental clicking on key fob, or by stranger walking by with honda key fob opening their car and frequency being close to mine, which opens my trunk).

The trunk is opened and the light to the trunk is on and remains on until the battery is fully drained. There should be a sensor to disable the light to prevent a full drain of the battery. The sensor should disable any lights that are on after a 2 minutes to prevent this issue.
