Remote Starting Holds Previous Window Defrost Settings

When I start my car it holds the temperature settings from the thermostat from the previous driving session- but the defroster is always initialized to off when the car is restarted.
It would be great , for purposes of remote starting on very cold winter days, for the defroster settings to auto start in the 'on' position if they were left that way from the previous driving session.
