It warms bed sheets quickly and saves on the cost of heating an entire bedroom. The device is a modern version of bed warming pans (filled with hot coals or ambers) which were used for centuries in Europe and in Colonial America when homes lacked central heating.

This hand-held electrical device is used to heat bed sheets prior to lying down to sleep.
