Problems Solved
There are several different types of light switches used in homes. Many homes have conventional switches with an on/off switch option. Some homeowners specially install dimmer switches for use in certain rooms. In addition, there may be some on/off style switches with the addition of a plug-in. However, many homeowners would benefit from being able to combine a dimmer switch with a plug-in to save on electricity and extend the life of their bulbs.

Power Dimmer is designed to combine the benefits of a dimmer switch and a plug-in. The device can add a plug in and dimmer switch to a regular on/off switch. It also acts as a night light/extra plug in as well, ideal for use in kids' rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and more. The invention is comprised of an electric dimmer switch with an integrated plug-in for use in areas where a conventional on/off style switch was in use or a dimmer switch without a plug-in. The dimmer switch can be made in any of a number of styles, including sliding sideways, round turning, toggle style etc. It can be made rated for LED bulbs as well. The exact specifications may vary upon manufacturing.
