Start off with a similar flakey like crust fill with a cream cheese filling & then topped with Cherry pie filling.make into the half moon fold over to create the lemon like turnovers that JITB used to sell in the late 70s.finally (that will stand up to heat ..bcuz this will be dropped in a fryer) or just bring the lemon and apple ones back!
