Low Light Images

LG Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 7 years ago

With the romored 24 megapixel camera romerd to be on the lg g6 I can't imagine it's great in low light. I was thinking about this for a while and found HTC had the same idea and used it on the phone that's basically a copy of the lg v20. You combine umipixels in the software to get more brightness in the image without creating noise or blurred images. I know this mode would have a lower resolution but noisless photos are worth it. You can implement this on the g6 and relece it in a update for some older phones to show consumers that their investment was worth it and this means if their satisfied that they will buy from lg again. I'm on the g5. I love the phone but it needs better ram management for playing games over long periods of time. It seems to not get rid of as much as it should leading big apps to crash after about 45 min. Back to the camera. If you pair these bigger virchual umipixals with the great camera software it would be amazing. Also you need to work on noise reduction and software sharpening when prodding the image. But make sure to make these options you can turn off if Simone dost like what they get with this. The last thing is about the camera also. You could with software use the second lead as a way to make the main one have depth perception so that you can focus the image after and change the capture. This was done on the honor 6x with an extra 2 megapixel image so cropping and doing this would be fine but you would need to turn of OIS but this will only be for stills anyway and that shouldn't affect the image much at all. You have the hardware and your software optimization has improved germaticly so I'm exited to see what the next update brings.
