Night Mode
LG Other IdeaSubmitted 7 years ago
Picture how maps knows when it gets dark out and it changes from white roads to darker ones.
Now picture a feature that connects to the time on the cell allowing them to switch to a "night mode". It allows user who are night owls to use their phones (calling, texting, memos, etc) without the blinding white (which even at the lowest brightness setting is much to bright). The cellphone is would be able to track when the approximate Sun rise and Sun sets are to know when to come in and out of this mode. Users could also have the ability to turn it off and on in the phone's settings.
Night guards don't have to readjust their eyes as they look away from their phones. Star gazers don't have to worry about their phones contributing to the light polution. Passengers in late night car rides don't have to worry about distracting the drivers while using their phones. Those of us who get up early in the morning won't be blinded by the sudden brightness of the screen.
