A Rollable/foldable Smartphone Concept

The idea is a smartphone that extends into a tablet. Current implementations of this are weak. Their usability is clunky and it doesn't feel natural. My idea uses the rollable technology found in LG's newly launched rollable TV. By having a smartphone that folds to the left and behind it is extra screen real-estate. The mechanics of this rely on the metal slats combined with the folding arms in the TV. Flexible metal rails on the top and bottom behind the screen allow for the tablet mode to be activated by "pulling" the edge of the screen to the left (or right, depending on your dominant hand). The metal slats also help reinforce the flexible screen panel and there can be grips behind it so it's easier to hold.
