G29 Analogue Joy Pad For Paraplegics

My daughter's partner is paraplegic and spends a LOT of his free time racing on his xbox and would love to race on my pc using my g29 wheel. Obvious problems with pedals prevent this. I know there are various solutions out there including xbox controllers etc. I wonder if it's possible to manufacture a joy pad that can be attached directly to the wheel?

The idea is that the device could be strapped to the steering wheel and simulate throttle control in games like iRacing etc. Obviously the game would need to have auto clutch/gearbox ability, but I think overall playability is much better with the legendary g29 compared with an xbox controller.

The device could have a bluetooth transmitter to connect to a usb dongle like the xbox controller can and have a rechargeable battery chargeable via usb type C port.

This would say a lot for Logitech's attitude to inclusivity.
