Show Body-style And Trim Level Of Drivers' Vehicles
Lyft Service Improvement IdeaSubmitted 3 years ago
While driving rideshare, riders will sometimes find it difficult to locate my vehicle - a 2018 Ford Focus ST - because while the app tells them to look for a black 2018 Focus and shows them a picture, the picture shown is of a Focus SE sedan, while the ST has some styling differences and is a hatchback. Before driving rideshare, I never thought this was that big of a deal, but it has become a common occurrence for customers to have difficulty locating my vehicle, so clearly my car has enough of a difference in styling to make it harder to find in a crowd. Allowing drivers to specify not just what color, make, and model we drive but also trim level - at least when there are significant styling differences between trims - and body style would alleviate this considerably.
In short, instead of showing customers that their ride is a "black 2018 Ford Focus", show them that their ride is a "black 2018 Ford Focus ST hatchback."
