I had this idea a few months back when at work . I am the owner of a small contracting company mainly home remodeling. At the start of every job be it a bathroom or kitchen remodel or building an addition on a house the contractor will get material list togethor and get all materials to job site .....alll hahah. This is almost never the case from the largest construction company I�¢ï¿½ï¿½ve worked for down to the smallest there is at least one time a day you need something from Home Depot or any hardware store mainly small things like box of screws or nails or tube of caulk plumbing parts you forgot or new saw blades all of witch Would fit in the smallest of smart cars so if you where thinking that a pickup would be necessary no 85 percent of the time it�¢ï¿½ï¿½s a small item that is needed in the middle of the day . Integrating larger items for guys or girls w trucks would be great but not immediately necessary. Now your question is why not hire a guy to do this well because why pay someone hourly you may only need for 45 min Home Depot run. Your next question is prob how are the drivers gonna find items well if you have used Home Depot app you may have noticed when you search an item it tells you what isle and bay of isle item is in in your specific store nice right .so one question for you Mr. Lyft when am I gonna be rich.
