Attachable Accessory Wagon Kit ( Utility Patent Pending) Uspto

Makita New Product Idea

Submitted 3 years ago

I have been in the maintenance business for over 25 years and because of this first-hand experience, I
designed a tool that saves time, energy and protection from the all-around physical wear and tear the
body endures.
This all started with me going into Home Depot to find a wagon I could afford to tow behind my golf cart
to haul all my tools and supplies, etc. I ended up not being able to find a wagon that was reasonably
priced, and this gave me the idea to build my own. I am always using my hand truck at my work sites, so
I decided to build a wagon that could haul my items and incorporate it with the hand truck so I could get
basically two tools into one. This worked out incredibly, because it ends up that the hand truck provided
the solid frame necessary to haul the wagon protecting it from any wear and tear.
I designed the wagon to have a location for the hitch and for the wagon handle. Both are detachable.
After I have used the hitch to travel to the location, I can unhitch the hand truck and easily replace it
with the wagon handle. The wagon then easily pulls off the hand truck to carry all my needed tools to
the work site. I have even added a ladder hook to the side of the wagon so that it can haul my 6ft
ladder.
The wagon fits right through any standard 29 ½ in door, so I can carry everything I need to the exact
place I need it.
When it comes to job sites that are further away and require me to drive my truck, in the past I never
had room to haul any type of wagon in the truck bed. So, I designed this wagon to break down into 5
separate pieces. These pieces break down so well that now I have space to bring the wagon to any job
site, quickly put it together and haul all my supplies and tools without having to make multiple trips. I
cannot tell you what a game changer this has been!!
Every job site I have been on, I have had a HUGE response from other contractors that have told me
what an ingenious invention this is and have asked me to build one for them. With such a response, I
have felt the need to find a company that catches this vision and understands what a true asset that this
tool provides for anyone and everyone that needs to have an affordable, easy to handle, physical stress
relief option to haul their tools and supplies.
The wagon can be made with aluminum, wood, and/or plastic materials. I chose wood because it was
the easiest to work with to make the prototype. There is a (Utility Patent Pending) USPTO
