Country Fried Steak Biscuit

In the early 90's while traveling through Hopkinsville, Ky., I stopped at a McDonalds and had a Country Fried Steak Biscuit for breakfast. It was the best breakfast sandwich I ever had at a McDonalds. I've always wondered why I never saw it again.

It's funny. I decided to look this up for some reason after seeing a trip to Atlanta on the Price is Right. The OG "Steak Biscuit" (country fried steak, and not that greasy, sloppy mess that was passed off as steak, most recently) was hands down the best breakfast sandwich from any fast-food joint, and in my opinion, from most places. It has the perfect crunch with the fried breading with just the right amount of chew to it. I really hate when restaurants bring something that seemingly works very well (though, I suppose it was probably a general flop since it's no longer on the menu) and then takes it away. At the very least, treat it like the McRib and bring it back for a limited time each year. Btw, it is/was 10x better than the McRib. Anyhow, the tie to Atlanta is as someone mentions 2 years ago... the last I can recall having this was back in high school during a spring break trip to ATL. This would've been '94. I suppose in the grand scheme of things, it's good this hasn't made it back to the menu because I'd be making a LOT of trips to McD's.

I literally adore the idea of McDonald's adopting a country fried steak and biscuit! It is marvelous that you serve breakfast 24 hours a day, but a country fried steak and biscuit is my very favorite and the only place I can get it is mornings at Hardee's. If you get this item I will be visiting you so much more often at all hours of the day and night :-)

Back in 1989 I was in Georgia and stopped at a McDonald's for breakfast the country fried steak and egg was on their menu. It was so delicious. I assume it was a limited time offer. Please research this and bring it back to your menu. Also sausage gravy and biscuits with a hash brown would be an excellent add on as a platter. Thank you
