Loyal Customer Suggestions

Meijer Marketing Idea Idea

Submitted 9 years ago

Dear Meijer Administration,

I shop at Meijer every week. There are so many reasons why I shop at Meijer. To mention a few, cleanliness, product selection and cost, Mperks and its my comfortable routine. I do have a suggestion for your deli area. I have witnessed elderly and disabled persons waiting for extended periods of time for assistance at the deli counter. I can see they are struggling to stand so long waiting for their number to be called if they have not chosen o use a wheel chair. Please make it standard for your stores to have a bench or some seating placed at the deli for their safety and comfort. I am young and able so it breaks my heart to see men and women in discomfort.

Marketing Idea:
My second suggestion is more along the lines of a sale promotion idea.
The holidays can be an extremely difficult time financially for families. Maybe each December you can offer a price fall back which would slash prices of various items back to the cost of years prior. For example, this December we are going to do a 15 year roll back and shop like its 1999. Each week for the month, spotlight major discounts on select items. This could be marketed as a holiday gift of thanks back to loyal shoppers.

Thank you or your time.

Sincerely,

Michelle Paden
Woodhavn, MI

I suggest you give customers a opportunity to give donations to Hurricane Harvey victims. And meijer make donations also. If you haven't already. Thanks and God Bless!

I just shopped at Meijer and used their ladies bathroom. It was a very uncomfortable experience. The sanitary napkin container was right against me as I sat down and the toilet paper dispenser was two inches in front of that container which made it ver difficult to get any paper. When I stood up I noticed the toilet itself was Not centered which added to the congestion. I weigh 130 pounds and if I was cramped many other women are having difficulty!! Thank you for listening!!

As a life long Meijer customer I recently moved to a southern state. My saddest part of the move is that their is no Meijer in this state. Would you consider moving Meijer to Myrtle Beach SC? I know it would go over so well here...

Meijer should consider the new gender neutral restrooms being used at colleges across America. At first this seems crazy, but after some thought they could work well and do in many other countries. They are being put in on college campuses often after student protest to be transgender inclusive. There are several other good reasons they would work well. Parents with opposite gender small children won't have to decide which restroom to use or send a small child in alone. There would always be a restroom available when one is being cleaned. If a new facility is built only one will need to be built. The big fear is that men would molest women. There is actually a likely chance that good men would around to protect women. Someone trying to molest women won't be stopped by a sign on the door. They would actually be safer. Some are concerned about women seeing men using urinals. In reality it's just men's backs. Some consider not having them but they save time and water and should be included. In New construction they could be placed beyond the stalls. Doors to restroom could have a window or be removed completely. Having raised three daughters I would have liked this when they were young. America is changing. It would be a bold progressive statement if you would consider this. This could be done as simply as changing the sign on the doors
