Make Games More Difficult And Bring Back More Games.

Nintendo Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 8 years ago

I noticed that lately, Nintendo has been making classic games that are already easy, even easier, such as Pokemon and Mario (at least for their handhelds). I Played Sapphire as a young child and beat the thing several times. It was easy enough then, so why did they feel the need to make the new ones even easier? I can't stand having something just handed to me in the game. Half of the fun then was hunting down legendary pokemon and catching them myself. Now, they just have some guy come up to you and go "Here you go, one legendary pokemon" several times through the game. Come on now. There is absolutely no challenge anymore.
As for bringing back games, they had several not so well known games that were AMAZING (Baten Kaitos for example). That was one of my favorite games and it's frustrating to me that they never made one for the ds or any of the newer systems. I think part of the reason it wasn't well known is lack of advertisement. I just happened to rent it from blockbuster once upon a time and fell in love. They have been focusing so much on the hits from the 90s and making the same thing slightly altered over and over and over and if They are so focused on remaking games, they should focus on some of the more unique games.
