Mario and Luigi: Worlds Collide is a game in the Mario & Luigi series for Nintendo 3DS that crosses over with the Sonic the Hedgehog series. As a result, the game uses the same graphics and engine as its predecessor and contains elements from Sonic the Hedgehog,which the sprites and background resemble the ones from Sonic Mania.Although both Nintendo and Sega worked on this collaboration, most of the development was handled by Nintendo. The plot revolves around Mario, Luigi, Sonic and Tails trying to stop the two villains, Bowser and Dr. Eggman from taking over the Mushroom Kingdom and Sonic's World using their combined armies and a mysterious power.
