Nintedo DS3

Nintendo New Product Idea

Submitted 5 years ago

I think it would be a bad decision for Nintendo to end the 3DS gaming line. Reason #1, because it's considered "pocket gaming" by the fact that you can hold it in your pocket and take it anywhere. Reason #2, The vast library of older classic Nintendo games on the virtual console is one of the greatest components of the system. The new Nintendo Switch system doesn't have either of these gaming components and therefore shouldn't replace the 3ds.

I think it would be a genius idea for Nintendo to release a New "3rd" DS model. The "1st" was the DS and DSI, and then the "2nd" was the 3DS and New3ds. With each successive console, the game graphics and performance got better and better. Well, I think Nintendo should create a DS3, or DS Cubed. It would be the "3rd" DS system model and have the graphics and performance of the Nintendo Gamecube. Everyone loved the GameCube and many still play it for multiple reasons. If Nintendo then ported the unique and best GameCube games to the DS3, it would sell like madness. Games like Metroid Prime, Resident Evil, Super Smash Bros, Gauntlet, Super monkey ball, Custom Robo, Waverace, Soul Calibur, Animal Crossing, Time Splitters, metal gear solid, and all the great stand-alone RPGs.

Sell this with backward compatibility for 3ds games for a low affordable family price like 200$ and boom! mass success!
