Don't sell the rights to Sony, but how about collaborating with them to release a Pokemon Classic (Red, Blue, Yellow) on PS4.
Story Mode would follow the original story line following Professor Oak, Ash, Brock, Misty etc. with add-ons allowing for the inclusion of newer generation Pokemon.
You could also have an Online Mode which would allow you to capture Pokemon, battle with your friends etc., sort of like Call of Duty.
Given the success of the Pokemon franchise and me being a 90's kid who grew up on it, I think this is just tapping the market. This would be a quintessential advancement in the Pokemon franchise given the recent craze because of Pokemon Go.
Imagine classic Pokemon with the graphics provided by PlayStation 4/Xbox One. I think this a huge opportunity for Nintendo to increase their profits and more importantly to revive the Pokemon franchise.
