Smash Bros.- Simon Belmont Whips Into Action

Nintendo Product Improvement Idea

Submitted 6 years ago

If theres something I dont know about the current license holding around Castlevania*, I desperately want Simon Belmont in a future release/ updates/ DLC for Smash Bros.
With the recent modernization of the character design and accumulated move sets since the beginning, Belmont would have incredible power and potential as a character in himself.
Also, since Castlevania is a cornerstone of the original Nintendo lineup I think it deserves more exposure to remind veteran gamers or introduce new gamers of this challenging, tough yet rewarding and admittedly fading franchise.
I also think plenty enough of Nintendo fans, old or new, may at least know of the Castlevania series from the original/ Metroidvania/ LOS games, so it wont be totally lost of who the Belmonts are.
Though it may seem to appeal to a niche audience, it would still expose Castlevania to a new batch of gamers

* About licensing, I base my assumption of cross company intergration from seeing Sega, their past rival, and Capcom included and their continued connection to Konami

Bonus, Belmont Smash Moves:
A- Direction Facing Whip
Left/ Right +A- Sharp directional whip
Up + A- Sharp upper whip strike
Down + A- Sharp floor whip swipe
B- Whip spin
Left + B- Cross/ Holy water
Right + B- Knife/ Axe
Up + B- Whip tornado (combo move from LOS)
Down + B- Sharp whip down (basic move from LOS)
Final Smash- Legacy of Belmont VampireKiller Strike (Greatest Five Dual Clash move from POR)
