Unlockable Characters Crossover By Completing SuperMario Run

My idea is that once you collect all the pink, purple, and black coins in SuperMario Run, you will be given access to a special unlockable character such as Pickachu that can be used in MarioKart or other crossover games. This would encourage more people to pay for SuperMario Run and also encourage them to purchase other Nintendo games. It would be a ton of fun trying to unlock the special characters. This would generate more revenue simply by adding this function. Why wouldn't they do it?
